If you are a woman who lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico during the 1980's or early 1990's and you were the victim of an unreported rape, you may have information that could help solve cold-case murders that occurred in Santa Fe during the same time range.

Chris McClendon, a former Santa Fe ski instructor, pled guilty to kidnapping and raping two women in the Santa Fe area, and to killing one of them, after being confronted with irrefutable evidence of his guilt. During the same time range McClendon was perpetrating his awful acts, a surge of unsolved murders also occurred in the Santa Fe area.   

Having personally met McClendon in Santa Fe on at least two occasions before he was apprehended for his atrocities, I am convinced that he must have other victims in New Mexico or elsewhere who survived their encounter with him and never reported it to police. If you are one of those victims, please come forward and tell the police what you know--you may be able to help solve a murder.
